Edit your summary directly

Many of you wanted to edit the summary directly, and now you can with our new summary review screen. This is a new screen accessed from the Summary button, designed for reviewing and editing summary items. Summary Review Tutorial

Overlay images

Thermal pictures are being used by more inspectors that ever before, and now you can do a-picture-in-a-picture right in our photo editor. This feature can be used for overlaying any type of image. Image Overlay Tutorial

Some additional new features include:

• New report styles - Modern styles for the narrative format.
• Multiple customers in the same report. See Tutorial
• Faster report writing with fewer clicks - double click on the column header “Inspected” and it will put an x in all of the items in that section.
• Pull up maps for your inspection address via Google, Yahoo, MapQuest or Microsoft. See Map Tutorial
• Up to 10 logos can now be set for use in your report. See Tutorial
• Set the default pixel size of pictures in your image editor preferences (Texas inspectors can now get two pictures across, just like the other states).

Online "Click to Agree" is turned on!

It’s finally here! You can now require your customer to "Click to agree" before allowing them to see the report. You can email a link that brings your customer to your website to sign in and agree to your contract before the inspection or before they can view the report. Most licensed states require the contract to be signed before you perform the inspection. Now you can give the buyer or customer easy access to agree to your contract before you arrive at the inspection address. It also allows you to brand your website again -- they come to your site to sign the agreement, and once again to pick up the report. For those of you that thought you were going to get a signature, but didn’t, you can now prevent viewing of the report before they agree to your contract. If they don’t agree, they don’t see the report. It’s that simple and it’s ready now! Please read the guide below for a better understanding. InterNACHI has released their online mold course and featured HomeGauge software as their preferred method of reporting! There are also optional templates available for commercial inspections, including the InterNACHI Commercial SOP and Green Features Template! InterNACHI inspectors can get their own version of HomeGauge software at www.internachigauge.com.
