What is the issue?
We have received calls from some of our customers reporting a sync delay between HomeGauge and Google Calendar. After an internal investigation, the HomeGauge engineering team has concluded that the issues come from Google’s bandwidth limits.
Who does this affect?
The sync issues are likely to affect any Google Calendar user.
Why does this happen?
To prevent abuse and manage bandwidth, Google limits interactions with their Calendars. In times of heavy load, Google may enforce stricter limits to ensure the service is available for all. Eventually, as usage decreases, your calendar will sync.
How can I prevent it?
Unfortunately, this matter is not in HomeGauge’s control. We are actively investigating the situation and searching for any viable workarounds. We recommend you refer to your appointment calendar directly to view any schedule details.
