The InterNACHI Conference: A Gathering of Inspectors and Industry Leaders
We were thrilled to attend this year’s October 12-14 conference presented by Nick Gromicko and InterNACHI in Atlantic City, NJ. We mingled with inspectors from all corners of the United States, the brightest minds in the inspection world, and fellow vendors at the Tropicana Casino and Resort. As usual, we had a blast swapping stories about bizarre finds, meeting new folks, and sharing industry insights with inspectors and other partners.
Nick founded InterNACHI, the world’s largest association of property inspectors, based in Boulder, Colorado. InterNACHI is a robust association that supports inspectors with comprehensive education, training, and valuable benefits for their success.
With Nick’s vision, dedication to property inspectors, and influence on the industry, InterNACHI conferences draw vast crowds of inspectors and vendors alike. This conference is a must-attend inspection event each year!
The Importance of Annual Conferences
Inspectors learned valuable insights and earned continuing education credits from the various workshops and seminars at the Professional Inspectors Convention.
The value of networking with inspectors and industry partners, learning about new tools and innovations, and dialing into industry trends cannot be overstated. So, whether you’re there for education, community, or the inside scoop on what’s coming up, InterNACHI’s annual conference has everything!
Our Unforgettable Experience at the Atlantic City Event
For HomeGauge’s crew, the convention was a whirlwind of connection and inspiration. The speaker lineup and educational sessions offered insights and wisdom from various corners of our industry, from Drone Training to Social Media for Home Inspectors.
However, the priceless opportunity to interact with peers, inspectors, and experts made the event worth every penny and every missed hour of sleep.
HomeGauge at InterNACHI Conference 2023
Dan attended Austin Jenkins’, aka Inspector AJ on TikTok, workshop on social media, where he confirmed that TikTok is the hot new space for inspectors looking to promote their services to a younger audience.
Dan also had some great convos at our ‘Hanging with HomeGauge’ event about how to get creative on Instagram and TikTok. He brainstormed with Brent Fletcher from Fletcher Home Inspections in Windsor, CO, and Preston Kincaid from Oxford, NY, on ways to make a splash on TikTok and social media. They also discussed the best strategies for teaming up with other inspectors and realtors.
Meanwhile, Molly stayed busy at her first show from the moment she landed – sharing a taxi from the airport with inspectors Al Walters and Stu Butler. Then, she worked hard at our booth, helping inspectors with their tech questions, gathering valuable feedback about our software, and showcasing our latest software, the Web Report Writer.
Our President, Paul McIntyre, and our VP of Product, Greg Ratliff, arrived just in time to rescue Dan and Molly by providing water bottles and extra help during the busy pre-registration rush. Both enjoyed visiting with inspectors and learning from their experiences while catching up with familiar faces at the conference. Greg appreciated the invaluable feedback and insights from inspectors and is eager to see how they could enhance HomeGauge’s tools and shape our future development.
Exchanging ideas, forging connections, and nurturing relationships with our existing and future customers is why we attend these conferences. Our team left Atlantic City enriched, engaged, and excited about what lies ahead.
Looking Forward to Future InterNACHI Events
While we’re still riding the buzz of this year’s Pro Inspectors Convention, we can’t wait to see what Nick has in store for 2024’s InterNACHI conference. We expect a dynamic blend of learning, networking, and innovation. Mark your 2024 calendars for October 10th – 13th and another industry-leading conference in Orlando, Florida. See you next year, InterNACHI!
