There are so many people to meet and so many things to take care of when in the process of buying a home. Russell Boltin at Cardinal Home Inspections came highly recommended to me thru my realtor. At first I was like, ok another contact. But when the home inspection appointment came and I personally met him, I immediately was able to discern why he came highly recommended. Not only did he arrive a little ahead of schedule (which I was happy about), but he exuded a top level of professionalism. He went right to work and he had different gadgets with him to measure things that may not be able to be seen with the regular eye. I didn’t hover over him as I wanted to get some measurements while at the house, but I did note that he was very intentional and thorough with what he was doing. He definitely knows his craft, but had a pleasant personality showing exceptional people skills. He was very relatable and spoke in a very understanding way. He is definitely smart and knowledgeable. He spoke with me and went over a summary of what he did and what he found. He was patient and answered all my questions. Within 24 hours I had a pdf report that included photos, findings, and color coded recommendations for the different levels of needed repairs. It was clear, concise, informative, user friendly, and very understandable. I feel like I have a very valuable document and clear understanding of the current condition of the house. Having this lets me be able to make needed decisions and negotiations. I’m so happy with this experience and feel blessed that such a high quality inspector was put in my path. I found absolutely nothing to complain about in this experience. I highly, highly recommend this company/inspector. I support small businesses in times like these, over large corporations where I may not get to speak to the same person twice.
