To continue being ASHI certified, an Inspector must complete a minimum of 20 hours of approved continuing education annually.
Guy has also obtained the "Inspector by Review" (IBR) designation through the Great Lakes Chapter of ASHI. This coveted award is presented to those Inspectors that inspect a home chosen by the Peer Review Committee and find a series of "must find" issues or defects, meet with the Committee to discuss their findings, and also answer a series of 50 questions pertaining to the home inspection field. Upon the satisfaction of the committee, the designation is then awarded.
Guy is currently serving on the Board of Directors of the Great Lakes Chapter of ASHI.
