As a full-time RVer, I’m well aware of the issues RVers face, whether it be when purchasing or selling a travel trailer, 5th wheel or motor home. As both a Certified NRVIA Inspector and Certified RV Technician, I truly enjoy helping others evaluate, purchase, and maintain their rigs. Because and I follow a strict code of ethics and the standards of practice defined by the National RV Inspectors Association (NRVIA), you can rest assured that the information provided in my inspection report will be thorough, independent and provide a fair, non-biased evaluation of your RV.
My inspection consists of all major systems installed in the RV, including heating, air conditioning, water systems (fresh, black and gray), plumbing, plumbing fixtures, generator, electrical (AC, DC and chassis systems), roofing, exterior walls, caps (front and rear), windows, awnings, slides, slide toppers, wheels, tires, axles, suspension, and hitching. Also included are electronic inverters and converters, furnaces, water pumps, water heaters, appliances, ceilings, walls, flooring, cabinetry, furniture, and fabric.
Upon request, fluid samples can be taken from engines, transmissions and generators, including oils, coolants and fluids to provide a complete picture of the systems involved. These samples can be drawn from tow vehicles, motor homes, generators (either internal or portable) and can be done periodically, if desired, to provide a current snapshot or a historical record of the system. Fluid analysis results are normally available from our lab within 3 to 4 business days following the inspection, but can be expedited, if necessary.
Our inspections normally take 6 to 6 1/2 hours, depending on the age and type of RV. Finished reports contain detailed information regarding each system and contain observations in text, photos (normally 80 to 100 or more), and videos. Reports are compiled and delivered on a private web page within 24-48 hours following the inspection. Reports are also available in a printable document (PDF) format
We look forward to helping you enjoy camping and the RV lifestyle as much as we do. Please don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or to request a quote. I can be reached at Dave@HawkEyeRV.com or at (781) 789-9887.
