My wife and I had our inspection with Carmel Home Inspections yesterday and it was the most thorough inspection that we ever went through. We have purchased homes in the past and by the time we walked to the door to meet the inspector, the inspector was finished. Not only is Mr. Bustamante knowledgeable, while he was going through the home he was also educating us on the home, what he was looking for, explaining why there were issues, etc. Mr. Bustamante also has one of the best personalities that I have ever encountered. He greets you with a genuine smile and a nice, firm handshake. Something that I greatly appreciate in a world that is so impersonal. His reports are very descriptive and he includes pictures to justify his rationalizations. You will not be disappointed in meeting or hiring Mr. Bustamante. He is definitely someone you need for your own needs and to refer him to others. For us, he has set the standard for home inspectors. We know if we ever have to get another home inspected, he will be the one we call and the one we refer our friends and family to that reside or plan to reside in the Atlanta area.

I was lucky enough to have Carlos as my home inspector. I was in the process of relocating to Atlanta and was not in the area at the time of the inspection. Extremely thorough and professional. Some of the issues could not be explained as there is no knowledge of when the den with brick wall and fireplace was added. Suspicion is that it was originally an enclosed porch. Carlos did a great job of explaining his findings, and was very energetic and went back numerous times to determine sources of plumbing leaks, gas leaks and water damage. I would very happily recommend Carlos Bustamante for a thorough home inspection.
