From the initial contact, to setting up payment, to performing the inspection with little notice, to providing a thorough and detailed report, Jeff has impressed me very much. Since I was not able to be present at the inspection, Jeff worked seamlessly with my agent the day of the inspection, was kind enough to say a few basic observations during the agents' videos to me, while also making a few videos of his own.
I am confident that the report is detailed and very helpful going forward with this process. I really appreciated the online ability to review the report and also create a 'issues' list of the areas I think might need to be addressed before closing; that was fantastic. Jeff and crew produced a very concise report. --- We purchased a property remotely. The many photos that went along with the text really helped paint a clear picture of things. Very helpful. We paid for a radon test, after a week of waiting and up against a known contract deadline, my realtor had to call and ask for results. Results were never communicated to us, nor were they posted. First home inspection I ever had where outbuildings weren't inspected. That was a surprise. A lot of the feedback in the inspection report was not actionable - "At least one outlet in one of the bedrooms was found to have reverse polarity." which one? Jeff was very professional and responsive when scheduling and executing the inspection, but the final report and the handling of the radon testing results were not.

This is one of the most thorough inspection reports that I have seen in quite some time. It was easy to understand and included photos of the items that need attention. Because of Jeff's 70 or do page report with pictures and suggestions on how to fix that was so thoroughly broken down & easy to read/understand, we were able to get our house for thousands less than originally agreed to. The evidence of issues and the cost to correct were unarguable... Definitely worth the investment. Unfortunately, I was not able to accompany Jeff during his inspection, but I find his written report to be complete and thorough. The pictures accompanying each finding were quite useful in helping me understand the exact nature of the problem.
I must add that, also unfortunately, the inspection had to be done in January, with a good deal of snow on the ground and house, so that some exterior aspects of his inspection were impossible to carry out.
