My Background And Experience
I’ve been a Licensed Illinois Home Inspector since January 2007. I’ve worked in the construction industry since 1968, specializing in estimating and supervising residential/commercial projects. I’ve logged hundreds of hours inspecting jobsites. I’m also familiar with city and suburban building codes.
Peace of Mind for Buyers
You may already refer buyers to a home inspector like me. I point out major repair needs and builder oversights. But most importantly, I give them peace of mind. I explain that older homes may need a few minor repairs and these are usually simple fixes and not deal breakers.
What Makes Me Different?
I personally complete each inspection. Whenever possible, I like to walk through a home with my client to explain what I’m calling out. I also take the time to review simple maintenance tips to keep their home in good shape. Both buyers and sellers say they really appreciate my time and attention.
Preparing Sellers’ Homes
Why should you should have a home inspection before selling. Finding and fixing minor issues can speed up the sales process and get your seller top dollar. Most homeowners don’t realize simple upgrades and repairs that need attention. I can show your what to do to get their home sales-ready.
