In the past 5 years I've bought over 16 houses to redo, then flip. In doing so I've used at least 7 different inspectors and 1 engineer for inspections. Mr Bowers cost about $50 more than the others, but he was head and shoulders above any of them.
He was friendly, informative and thorough. This house had 2 previous potential buyers fall through for credit issues. Both had inspections (1 was a licensed structural engineer). Both gave the home a clean bill of health. Dan found over $9,000 of hidden problems (later verified by licensed contractors). He saved me from buying a money pit without knowing what was really there.

Dan's team is very detailed with a lot of knowledge and expertise. If you are purchasing a home with stucco I highly recommend the moisture testing along with probing for moisture levels to know exactly what condition the stucco is in. Having purchased 6 homes in 6 years his post inspection report is the best i have seen and the format allows you to easily share the information for negotiating purposes.
