Thanks to Ed my husband and I did not buy a $-pit! Ed was friendly, knowledgeable, professional, and most importantly, THOROUGH. We spent a few hours going over our prospective home, and they found problems big and small, and explained what they meant and how to correct them. Everything was in the report I received the next business day, which had so much information I didn't even get to reading it all. My realtor kept using the phrase "well maintained" when speaking about the house; Ed looked past the fresh paint and showed us the house for what it was. He even found an electrical problem in the panel that the sellers insisted had already been inspected and signed off on. You definitely want a thorough home inspection when you buy a house; if you don't get one your buyer might. Besides all the problems we could have run into if we bought the house, I can't imagine trying to sell it again with all those problems.
