I was under the impression that an inspection would catch faulty appliances, faucets that run slowly (insufficient water pressure), leaks, inaccurate water temperature.
This is not the case with Steve Kallao and First Coast Home Inspection. Appliances were signed off as in working order that leaked when first used. I have invoices from plumbers and electricians trying to get the water temperature and flow correct and again, these items were signed off as "in working order".
Buyer Beware with First Coast Home Inspection and look to Facebook and Twitter for further details prior to legal action.

Mr. Kallao was efficeint, thorough, and honest. He walked around the property with me and showed me all the different areas that he may be concerned with; explained what he was looking for; what would cause these areas of concern; and what I could do to ensure these areas would remain in good condition, or how to fix these areas if they turned poor. For the areas that he was not a complete expert or was uncertain, he honestly told me what he saw and recommened a qualified expert in a specialized field (namely a certified pool inspector). I will gladly recommend his services to any new home owner or military member on PCS orders.
