She is pleasant, personable, very detailed and thorough, and you can tell she truly cares about her clients and her job. She explained the process they go through during their inspection, which is exceptionally helpful as first-time home buyers. As we're coming from overseas and could not attend the inspection in person, she reassured us that they have much experience at working with out-of-town customers and eased our concerns of not getting the opportunity to learn about our home first-hand due to their meticulous notation, pictures, and follow-up phone walkthrough. Christopher is warm, knowledgeable, great at sharing information, and takes the time to educate his clients. Foundations Home Inspections did exactly what everyone said they would do, and they did it exceptionally well. They did so well in their inspection they save us an approximate $30,000 repair. The garage foundation had failed and the roof trusses were sister jointed with failing nails. It was a complete loss. A new garage and foundation was approximately $30,000 from a local contractor. On the plus side, the rest of the home was in remarkably good condition. They covered more than what I could imagine. I can see why a few realtors don't want them walking through... they are the insurance buyers really need before throwing down large sums of money on heavy investments. We appreciate everything they did.

As a first time home buyer, the process can be a bit overwhelming especially adding in the fact that we are purchasing a home sight unseen in a state we have never been to. We learned SO much and now feel comfortable with our house. The book that they gave us at the end of the meeting might as well be made of gold! My dad came with and said that he wished he had done an inspection on his own house when he bought it, because there was so much useful information given to us. The report is very detailed and easy to understand. I will probably refer back to it often. If we ever move again in the area, you can bet that we will call this company. The only suggestion that I have is that I wish I had the option to get the pictures on a memory card instead of a cd, as my computer does not have a cd drive.
