I would highly recommend George to anyone looking for a home inspector. I found him to be knowledgeable and informative without making you feel overwhelmed. Buying a house, whether it's your first or fifth time is nerve-wracking enough so it's important that our home inspector is able to instill in you a sense of confidence that they are not there to add to your worries. He made to engage with me but he wasn't a chatterbox and it was clear he was there to work and not be social. He explained all of his findings to me and took the time to point out all the features of the house so that I would understand how things worked and where they were located. I feel much more reassured that I know what I am getting into after his inspection. I would absolutely use him again and recommend him to others.

George does a great job. Many inspectors are reluctant to express their opinion and dryly say "consult an expert". While George encourages clients to get professional opinions, he is open about expressing his view as to how serious a situation it appears to be. Rather than create fear in a prospective buyer, George really takes his time to explain the implications of a situation and offers some insight and experience as to how serious it may or may not be. George conducted the inspection in an extremely professional manner. He displayed a great deal of knowledge about all aspects of the inspection and explained every part of the inspection in detail to me. He showed me where all of the important components were located (water shut off valves, filters that need to be changed, controls for HVAC, etc.). He gave a fair and balanced evaluation of everything. I was especially impressed at how polite, courteous and respectful he acted. Keeping in mind my visual limitations he described things to me that a fully sighted person would have observed for themselves. When he described and explained things he did not "talk down" to me or tell things to sighted people with me, he treated me with respect and that is how everyone wants to be treated.

This was our first home inspection.
George was very professional, he explained what he was looking for. The reasons why it was important. How he inspected his home in the same manner. He was kind..asked about our kids. explained the dangers of having the hotwater heater turned up.
