Choosing an inspector can be a "they all look the same and do the same job" in appearance, but that is the furthest from reality as possible, and can be regretful and dangerous. Many inspection companies are 1-5 years old, do very well at "misleading" and spend huge amounts of $$ marketing, buying into, sponsoring realtor group gatherings and even the illegal "PAYING TO BE ON A PREFERRED VENDOR LIST" to garner the favor of agents and offices, but shhhh, that not for customers to know about. What type of company would anyone trust if the truth was there to see how marketing buys work, but the end performance lacks and they cannot measure up, all at the expense of the customer. 

Established in 2005, We at Reynolds Professional Real Estate Inspection Group have deep roots in East Texas and understand the business in so many aspects and volumes of disciplines. We offer inspections from general home inspections, construction, commercial, phase, draw, custom, remodel, 203K HUD Consultant, foundation specific and more.  Our team of inspectors are as dedicated and experienced as any in the business. As of late 2022 we have performed over 10200 residential and commercial inspections, over 1280 prior and average of 145ish active residential and commercial construction and remodeling inspections in East Texas. Prior inspection principles include National Bridge Inspection certification for over 15750 bridge inspections for engineering, material and fracture critical all over the United States. Engineering yearly inspections on over 12000 miles of pavement in Texas ran for 22 years.  

We have established some very basic guidelines for our customers, as we are beholden to serve the best interest of, not real estate agents. Communication is half the process, and establishing understanding and proper perspective of situations and conditions is a must. Presenting and explaining the 3 types of issues - performance, material and installation and how they affect a property. Issues vary in degree and definitley need proper perspective and common sense on what they are. Many times there are simple and inexpensive fixes or solutions, upgrades versus repair (yes these are different) as is based on age or type and other situations that need experienced understanding and clarification. Issues of significance need to be the points of emphasis and warrant the attention they deserve. New homes are new homes and older homes are older, they simply are not the same and need to be defined properly and respectfully. Too many inspectors regurgitate information learned from a book, and that is not fair to the property, to the buyer or seller. 

Responsible and accountable inspections with common sense and proper perspective is our performance goal.  We do not inundate reports with red tape baloney, and limited not liable trashy wording. We know that the best way to avoid issues to just do the job better than the one before, every time, and to never chase a dollar.
