I was concerned up front about what I thought were excessively conservative provisions in the Pre-Inspection Agreement, but after discussing my concerns with him, I decided to go forward. During the inspection, Mark was thorough and knowledgeable. He found many potential problems that I had overlooked. His report was detailed and, I thought, struck a reasonable balance that would allow me to address certain problems immediately with the seller and other problems later, as the homeowner. I don't know at this time whether he caught everything, but it seems like he did. There was one issue (plumbing) that I wish he had covered in greater detail. He also flagged another issue during the walk through, but expressed no similar concern in the final report. He has offered good advice for addressing each identified problem, whether now or later. On balance, I think that Mark did a good job and I would recommend him to others seeking a house inspection.
