HomeGauge closed out 2016 with record growth, new support people, and a fantastic website department

This past year brought some great new features and updates for HomeGauge, including the new Online Agreement System, the Create Request List™ feature with a personalized live demo page, the HomeGauge 5.2 update, the Public Appointment Request feature, Business Insights, and so much more. We're also getting ready to announce a content marketing/social media marketing program to shift your website into high gear.

Under the Appointments menu on your HomeGauge.com dashboard, you will find a new Search option. Besides just helping you to find regular appointments, the appointment search feature will also show canceled appointments. This means the next time you need to reschedule a canceled appointment, you can easily find and reschedule it without wasting any time.
New appointment map feature for multi-inspector firms
This view will show you where all your appointments are located on a map on a chosen day, for all your inspectors. This can help you plan, re-assign inspection tasks to different inspectors, etc. You can find this view from the Calendar by first clicking on Switch to Daily View, then on Map.
Default image size update
In the latest version of HomeGauge 5.2 (5.2.12) you can now set different default image sizes for the cover page, overview sections, and inspection items. A lot of users have been asking for this feature to save the hassle of picking different image sizes for different sections. To set these options: when you are editing a photo in HomeGauge, click on the Edit Default Settings button found on the bottom right of the image editor.
Bonus tip for 2017
If you want to get the absolute most out of your HomeGauge Services and Business Insights, we recommend starting all new reports directly from your HomeGauge.com Dashboard! How do you do that? First, if you haven't yet, you will need to quickly setup your Appointment Manager. From your HomeGauge.com Dashboard, click on the Setup Appointment Manager button and follow the steps. Once that is done, from your HomeGauge.com Dashboard click on Start Report, or from the Appointments menu/calendar view select New Appointment. After you have created your appointment, you can download it to your software by going to the menu HG Services - Download Online Appointments. You still only have to enter the basic information once (or not at all if your customer creates the appointment online with the Appointment Request feature).
